This was certainly a hard hitting build and there is never a fun time when you're having 4 red dice thrown at you however the pilots were a little mis-matched and after the game I told my son he should swap out the cannons on Keyan and Ten just to activate their pilot skills better.
I've been fascinated for a long time with Imperial Boba Fett builds, a lot of people discount them and I'm too stubborn to put the idea down so when I spotted someone on the FFG forums seemed to be having luck with a particular build I couldn't resist but to try it myself.
Boba Fett - Veteran Instincts, Engine Upgrade, Slave I, Extra Munitions, Ysanne Isard, Proton Bombs, Homing Missiles
Darth Vader - Veteran Instincts, Engine Upgrade, TIE/x1, Advanced Targeting Computer, Proton Rockets
Certainly a lot packed into these two pilots, I've had a bit of experience with Vader and do enjoy flying him purely for the consistent amount of damage he generates and his survivability if I don't fly like a goose.
Boba on the other hand is a pilot I've used a handful of times but I'm certainly keen to gain more experience with him but also change out the configuration a little. I'm mostly looking at the crew slot as I can see a utility for Gunner, Rebel Captive just to name a few.
A re-match is already underway and I hope to produce a much better battle report with a few more visual aids (such as leaving shield tokens next to ships to represent how many they have lost etc) so it makes it a little bit easier to follow.
I certainly enjoyed running the list and even though Ysanne didn't play a huge role in this game I'm interested to see in future how she can possibly keep the firespray alive for another round or two.
