I have a rather obsessive personality when it comes to gaming and collecting toy soldiers so in the future I'll be using this blog to document my journey across whatever gaming system I'm playing at the time. Fear not as X-wing is certainly still cemented in my brain.
My brother is moving interstate shortly and whilst this isn't exciting news to post on a blog it ultimately means my 4 kids have lost their DM. Their uncle often puts them through their paces in small adventures designed to stimulate their minds and create not only hack and slash environments but also to put their brains together in situations where only team work will prevail. Often my brother and I will just laugh at one another as the kids come up with wild plans that completely catch us off guard.
I've been eyeing off FFG's Star Wars RPG's for a long time (amongst tonnes of the other products on offer) and decided this was probably the perfect time to bite and get myself a copy of the beginner game of Force and Destiny.
After floating the idea to the kids immediately they were more than happy to have their very own space adventure in the Star Wars universe and I'm genuinely excited to be a part of it.
I ended up order the beginner set from Daniel at Tabletop Empires late in the afternoon on Wednesday and by Thursday morning before 0930 I had the box in my hand so as usual Daniel really goes the extra mile and his customer service is incredible. So needless to say this weekend will have some role playing on the cards as well as some much needed X-wing and of course the by product being another order to Tabletop Empires should everything go well.
If you've played any of the RPG's from FFG I'd be very happy to hear your comments and of course your thoughts on Force and Destiny.
Thanks for reading.
