The strategy was very straightforward for me: focus on whatever ship presented itself first and unleash all my shots into it, hopefully to score some ion tokens and then get into optimal position on its tail. This would prove tricky, as Dengar could shoot everywhere and I didn't want to be caught directly behind Kath, either.
I set up my obstacles hoping to break up my son's formation and force his ships to move away from each another for a turn or two - allowing me to put the hurt on one of them.
In return a critical hit turns up on Dengar being a console fire.
The Delta '1' cops a single shield from both the Scum personalities whilst in return Dengar is wiped from the board.
Well thanks for reading if you've got this far. I'm still learning minor details with this list, but I certainly like the fact that it is so straight forward and has a high degree of damage output, provided the dice are nice. I also am always happy with the control element the list has.
Provided the three Delta's focus onto a single target, it seems they're more than capable of taking it down fairly quickly. Of course, it was going to be an uphill battle to not get double tapped by
Dengar in this particular match-up.
My aim next game is to not lose a TIE Defender in the opening volley of fire. That would be nice!
