At pilot skill 7, there are a few enemy ships that can get the jump on Ketsu Onyo and although you will want to reach for Veteran Instincts, there are also times when a single action just isn't enough and you'd wish you'd brought Push The Limit.
Keeping enemy ships in both of your arcs at the same time is the tricky part with Ketsu, if you can 'double-arc' the enemy or just stick to them like glue with an Engine Upgrade and utilising the 5K-turn you'll be rewarded.
The Shadow Caster title is a perfect fit here and there really is no shortage of upgrade options to customise what Ketsu Onyo will do. For instance, Dengar can mitigate the need to taking Push The Limit in order to remove the need for target locks.
Lastly, when running Ketsu it pays off to take the 3 largest asteroids as obstacles aiming to drag opponents onto these to prevent them from shooting in the combat phase.
