Staying with Delta Squadron Pilots you can sneak a pair of these in with the title and a TIE MKII on both to fill the points out. On Whisper you can approach with the classic build or swap out to different crew and system upgrades depending on your flavour.
With the TIE Phantoms elusive style combined with the Defenders white K-turn you can really create some kill boxes where enemy ships will face heavy fire and in return they could aiming at well defended opposition loaded with a combination of focus and evade tokens.
Whisper does indeed have possibly one of the steepest learning curves in the game but it's one of those ships that once mastered some really nasty things can be achieved and whilst it can be tricky to get damage through to the TIE Phantom without the assistance of a higher pilot skill the TIE Defenders also have a pretty good chance of dodging some incoming fire.
2 x Delta Squadron Pilot (30) - TIE/x7 (-2), TIE MKII (1)
Whisper (32) - Fire Control System (2), Veteran Instincts (1), Advanced Cloaking Device (4) Recon Specialist (3)
This combined makes this squad a formidable one and another that I'll add to my list of squads that I need to play test in the future and report back on.
