M9-G8 is a fantastic tool to lock onto enemy ships who will target Biggs allowing you to force a single re-roll. It can however be used on the Ghost to augment its attacks such as a subsequent attack with the Twin Laser Turret after a primary weapon attack or even onto an enemy ship that the Ghost hasn't got a target lock on.
Integrated Astromech basically gives Biggs a final hull point, forcing the enemy to really squeeze every last bit of blood out of the X-Wing.
Whilst sporting a healthy 4-dice attack to primary and special firing arc thanks to the Phantom title card, the enemy needs to be rather cunning when approaching from any attack vector. Outside of these firing arcs the Ghost is no less potent as the range 2-3 bands are covered by the Twin Laser Turret. Once again thanks for the Phantom title card, if the Attack Shuttle remains docked, the Ghost can perform one of the following attacks:
- Primary + Twin Laser Turret (potentially 6-7 damage)
- Twin Laser Turret + Twin Laser Turret (potentially 4 damage)
Fire-Control System allows for easy dice modification on either the primary weapon or Twin Laser Turret attacks. Tactical Jammer as explained above, is to increase the survivability of Biggs.
The sheer amount of flexibility this allows the squad is savage so it's easy to see why keeping Biggs in the firing line for as long as possible allowing the Ghost to work is critical.
This squad is successful for the Rebels because it takes away the opponents ability to select targets. Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue, but due to the fact the Kanan can mitigate so much damage incoming to Biggs, it makes for a winning formula.
